GM hopes people will pay a premium because it is the last V-8-powered Cadillac
After months of teasing and testing, Cadillac dropped the first information on the CT5-V Blackwing back in February 2021
Shortly after, the company also announced that the first 250 units were sold out in only minutes
The remaining units are now officially on sale and the CT5-V Blackwing can be yours, if you are willing to pay the price
But first, lets recap a few things about the sports sedan
It comes powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine that delivers 668 HP and 659 LB-FT of torque
Customers can choose between a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an available 10-speed paddle-shift automatic
Depending on the transmission you opted for, the 0 to 60 mph sprint is done in 3.4 seconds (automatic) or 3.6 seconds (manual)
Top speed goes up to 200 mph and the quarter mile is done in 11.30 seconds
The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is offered with an advanced high-performance braking system, plus an enhanced Electronic Limited-Slip Rear Differential
The model offers three premium interior choices, with unique trim, appoints, and technologies
Customer will get a 10-inch-diagonal color touchscreen and an AKG premium audio system with 16 speakers
As an option, customers will also get carbon fiber-accented racing seats
Of course, all these options come with a huge price
As the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing has a starting MSRP of $84,990 and a fully configured MSRP of $125,980
