Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R Race Car

Chevrolet is replacing the C8.R race car with a new Z06 GT3.R and will make it available to the public from 2024

Chevy has unveiled the new Corvette Z06 GT3.R race car. It replaces the C8.R from the company’s lineup

The Corvette Z06 GT3.R is based on the Z06, but isn’t street legal. The track-focused car will come with a whole lot of aerodynamic components, including a large rear wing

It will be based on the C8.R’s aluminum chassis. Powering the car will be the same 5.5-liter, flat-plane crank naturally aspirated V-8 engine as the Z06, but will churn out between 500 and 600 HP to stay in like with the GT3 regulations

The Z06 GT3.R is still under development, so the company hasn’t released all the specs and details about it. But, we should hear more about the race car next year. Chevy noted that the GT3.R will be available for sale from the 2024 racing season
