What’s Special About The Ford Bronco Everglades?

This special-edition Bronco has been designed to go into swamps, slush, and murky waters. For starters, it comes with 17-inch Carbonized Gray wheels that are unique to the Everglades model. They are shod in 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires. The fender flares are extended to accommodate the tires and match the width of the Bronco with a Sasquatch Package

Up front, the Bronco Everglades comes with a heavy-duty bumper with a 10,000-pound winch with a 100-foot synthetic line. You also get a protective safari bar and bash plates that are seen on the Black Diamond and Badlands trims. Apart from this, you also get a roof rack with crossbars, rock rails, special Everglades decals and graphics, and squared wheel arches.

Since it is designed to go into waters, Ford has relocated some components like the transfer case and transmission vents to increase the water fording rating to 36.4 inches. This is over three inches more than the best that the Bronco has to offer.

Furthermore, Ford has also installed a snorkel to improve airflow to the engine even in extreme conditions.

It goes unsaid that the Bronco Everglades’ cabin is waterproof. You get the marine-grade vinyl interior and rubberized floor mats, along with drain plugs so you can hose down the cabin after a muddy, adventurous drive. The same 12.0-inch touchscreen powered by the SYNC4 infotainment system from the other trims is carried over. The only changes here are the Urban Green accents on the seats, dashboard, and door panels.
