The Lexus NX has been around for three decades now. The automaker recently unveiled its latest generation that's debuting as the 2022 model NX.For the 2022 model, it comes with updated exterior and interior, and also a plug-in hybrid engine in a new top-of-the-line 450h+ trim.Up front, it features the same spindle grille, although refined, and sharper day time running lights. The headlamps can be had with three-projector LED lights. At the rear, the NX now comes with a full-width taillight, similar to the UX and the IS models.The 2022 NX will be offered with six new shades: Redline, Cloudburst Gray, Grecian Water, Ultra White, Obsidian, Ultra Sonic Blue Mica 2.0.On the inside, the 2022 NX is offered with multiple upholstery options, which include Black, Black with Rich Cream, Palomino, and Rioja Red NuLuxe.It comes with a 9.8-inch touchscreen system as standard, but you can opt for a 14-inch touchscreen for extra moolah. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.The 2022 NX is also available with a panoramic moonroof.Apart from this, the crossover is also available with a 10-inch head-up display, 17-speaker Mark Levinson PurePlay audio system, ambient lighting with 64 colors, etc. .The 2022 Lexus NX has adopted the GA-K platform, which results in more headroom, legroom, and cargo space. The dimensions are not revealed yet.The 2022 NX comes with four different engine options based on the trims. The base NX 250 features a 2.5-liter, four-pot mill that makes 203 horses and 184 pound-feet of torque. It comes with an eight-speed automatic and front-wheel-drive system.The NX 350 benefits from a new 2.4-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine. It cranks 275 horses and 317 pound-feet of twist. It makes use of a new eight-speed automatic transmission.The NX 350h comes with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine with an electric mounted on each axle. It makes 239 horses combined and delivers 36 mpg!.The 450h+ plug-in hybrid trim will be powered by the same 2.5-liter engine, but Lexus hasn\u2019t revealed the power outputs yet. It could make north of 300 horses.It could be the same plug-in hybrid system that's offered on the RAV4 Prime. There it makes 302 horses and takes 5.8 seconds to 60 mph.As for the 0-60 mph times, the NX 250 FWD takes 8.2 seconds and AWD takes 8.6 seconds, the NX 350 takes 6.8 seconds, NX 350h takes 7.2 seconds, and the NX 450h+ takes six seconds.Lexus is offering the NX with an F Sport package on the 350 and the new 450h+ trims.It comes with a ton of stuff like Active Variable Suspension, front and rear performance dampers, 20-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, etc. .The 2022 NX will come equipped with the latest Lexus Safety System+ 3.0.Lexus hasn\u2019t revealed the pricing yet, but it will be priced at a slight premium over the outgoing model.The 2021 Lexus NX starts at $37,610.
