The McLaren 720S is an extreme machine, and was one of the first ever supercars to approach the acceleration level of modern day hypercars. Where McLaren stopped with the 720S, aftermarket tuners picked up, giving the world models like the McLaren 720S by Novitec, McLaren 720S Zenith Black by MSO, and even the 720S Spyder by MSO. Each of these programs built upon and already amazing package, but none of them come close to making the 720S look as extreme as the McLaren Senna, and that’s where DarwinPro’s new aerodynamic body kit comes into play.

Making The McLaren 720S Look Like A McLaren Senna

All McLarens have the that specific, well, McLaren look to them, but the Senna hit us by surprise with its extreme design and overly aggressive appearance. The best part is that the Senna is a road-legal car designed for the track, so you can enjoy all 780 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque on and off the track. The thing about the Senna, however, is that it was priced at around $1 million when it launched in 2017, and that falls just a little out of the affordable category. So, what’s one to do if you want the aggressive looks and impressive aerodynamics offered by the limited (only 500 total are being produced) Senna? Well, you can turn your $299,000 McLaren 720S into something that looks just as awesome.

Thanks to DarwinPro and it’s new aero kit, it’s just as easy to make your 720S look like a Senna as it is to imagine it happening. Assuming, of course, that you have $18,500 to order the 720S SE2 GTR style kit that you see here. The kit includes a new front fascia (including the upper elements) new side skirts, a new diffuser, a new rear wing, and the new shark fin that joins the roof with the new spoiler. The entire body kit is composed of carbon fiber to help keep weight down as you’d expect.

Now, it should go without saying that this kit won’t make your 720S identical to the Senna, but it sure as hell comes close, and it will definitely make you stand out – even if you have a bunch of wealthy friends with a taste for fast cars. With 710 horsepower on tap, the 720S is already impressively fast, taking just 2.8 seconds to get to 62.1 mph (100 km/h), 7.8 seconds to get to 124 mph (200 km/h), and capable of topping out at 212 mph (341 km/h). This kit, due to how it undoubtedly alters the 720S’ aerodynamics, could in fact slow you down in a straight line, but we’re willing to bet that it will hug the road and/or track a little better due to the increase in downforce.
