Last year, Brabus and fostla.de unveiled the Brabus 700 - a package based on the Mercedes-AMG G63 that delivered a total of 700 horsepower - as its name suggests. This year, the two companies took things even further and came up with the Brabus 800. As you guessed, this is also an updated G63, but with 800 horsepower under the hood.

What was changed under the hood?

In standard form, the G63 AMG is powered by a 4.0-liter, Biturbo V-8 that delivers a total of 577 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Most us us will find that enough both for everyday use or off-roading.

But the Brabus 800 is about more power so it incldues a PowerXtra B40S-800 kit, BoostXtra blow-off valve adapter, and a flap exhaust system.

This is 223 horsepower and 110 pound-feet more than the standard G63, but also 100 horsepower and 36 pound-feet more than the previous Brabus 700 package.

There is no word on how the performance figures have improved, but it will for sure be a lot better than the standard 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and top speed of 149 mph.

Exterior looks meaner

Don't get us wrong, the G63 AMG looks aggressive enough in its standard form. But, a meaner appearance is a lot more appropriate for an off-roader, don't you think?

And this is where the Widestar body kit comes into focus. Mostly made out of carbon fiber, it includes: a new radiator grille, new front skirts, a hood, and a roof extension with LED auxiliary lights. The tuner also installed new mirror caps and fender flares. For the rear there is a new carbon fiber spare wheel and a new spoiler with endplates made of the grayish shimmering material.

A new Brabus Ridecontrol coilover suspension is also offered.

Interior gets a few updates too

For the interior, Brabus is offering a new Interior Accessories package and a few elements in carbon fiber. They covered the plastic with black Alcantara - finished with red decorative stitching to match the seat covers. The coolest part is the new roof that includes countless LEDs for a starry sky-night look.
