When you think of high-end aftermarket companies, some of the top names that come to mind include Hennessey, Mansory, and Brabus. While Hennessey is known for outright performance builds and Mansory for the most radical and unusual mods, Brabus is a blend of the two. It is back with yet another Mercedes build, this time, for the AMG E63 S called the Brabus 800. New wheels and aerodynamic elements on the outside, plush treatment on the inside, and power enhancement to the existing V-8 make this Brabus build an absolute beast.

The Brabus E63 S Is Aerodynamically More Efficient

Brabus isn’t known for chrome touches or elements on its builds, and the 800 is no exception. Finished in a mean-looking black exterior shade, the car comes with subtle red inserts to break the monotony. Carbon aerodynamic enhancements are the highlight of this build. It features a custom spoiler lip along with air inlets up front, and a spoiler and diffuser at the rear.

It rides on forged ten-spoke 21-inch Brabus Monoblock ‘Platinum Edition’ Z wheels. They are complemented by red rim borders and red calipers. You can have them with either Continental, Pirelli, or Yokohama tires. The car even features a Brabus suspension module, with which you can adjust the ride height 0.4 to 0.8 inches depending on the drive mode.

What’s Different On The Inside?

As is with any high-end conversion, Brabus also allows the customers to customize the interior as per their taste and preference. There are some basic changes, however, like leather interior, Brabus door pins and aluminum pedals, and stainless steel doorsills with an illuminated Brabus logo which changes color to match the ambient lighting.

It Makes Almost 200 Horses More Than The Stock AMG E63 S!

This top-pf-the-line E-Class model is powered by a 4.0-liter, bi-turbo V-8 engine. Power is routed to all the wheels courtesy of an AMG SpeedShift nine-speed automatic gearbox and the company’s 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system. It takes 3.3 seconds to sprint to 60 mph from rest.

Brabus has re-tuned this mill to make 788 ponies and 737 pound-feet of twist, which is an increase of 185 horses and 110 pound-feet of torque more than the stock model. It is also three-tenths of a second quicker to 60 mph, now taking three seconds flat to hit the mark. The top is electronically governed to 186 mph.

The E63 S 800 also features a new stainless-steel, valve-controlled, high-performance exhaust system with carbon tailpipes. You can select the modes and volume levels, which range from a quiet ‘coming home’ mode to the full bore ‘Race’ mode.

Conclusion

The aftermarket company didn’t reveal the price of this package, but no Brabus build ever comes cheap. In the States, the 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC+ starts at $107,500. So, including the donor car, we don’t expect this one to cost anywhere south of $225,000.
