2022 Brabus 900 Rocket Edition

With a top speed of 205 mph, the Brabus 900 Rocket Edition becomes the fastest SUV in the world

Brabus announced the Rocket 900 Edition - the world's fastest SUV

It is based on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe and comes with updates to the engine, exterior, interior

Under the hood, Brabus started by enlarging the displacement of the V-8 engine

In the standard GLE 63 S the engine displaces 4.0-liters, but in the Rocket 900 it displaces 4.5-liters

For this, the cylinders were enlarged, the forged pistons are larger and the stroke was increased by almost 4 inches.

The standard turbos were also replaced by special BRABUS turbochargers with larger compressor unit, and modified core assemblies with reinforced axial bearings

There is also a new exhaust system with integrated exhaust flaps and two BRABUS titanium/carbon tailpipes

The result is a total of 900 horsepower and 922 pound-feet of torque, but torque output is limited however to "only" 774 pound-feet.

The car goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and up to a top speed of 205 mph

The exterior features a very cool looking "Superior Gray" finish

It was combined with chin spoiler, air intakes, front bumper, side intakes, side air outlets and rear diffuser made out of carbon fiber

It can be had with either a set of 24 inch Monoblock Z "Platinum Edition" wheels in a ten-spoke design

Or a smaller, 23 inch set combined with Continental high-performance tires.

For the interior Brabus opted for a gray leather with red contrasting highlights

The same red color was used for all trim pieces in the cockpit, pedals, door pins, and the RACE paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

The Brabus 900 Rocket Edition will be limited to only 25 units

It is priced at €381,243 or about $448,000 at the current exchange rates.
