Bugatti is a name popular amongst automotive enthusiasts worldwide, not just for its record-breaking fast cars but also for its bank-breaking price tags. But what if we told you there was a Bugatti offering that costs under $1,500? Before you ask us what we’re smoking, allow us to introduce you to the Bugatti 9.0, the company’s first foray into the two-wheeler space as well as the EV space.

Bugatti’s First Electric Scooter - The 9.0

The Bugatti 9.0 is a product of the collaboration between the exotic carmaker and electric accessories company, Bytech. As you can see, it’s a kick-type scooter, similar to the Ducati Pro-I Evo, and isn’t exactly something you can set the streets or the track on fire.

That being said, the 9.0 is powered by a 600W motor and a 360Wh battery, which give it an 18.5mph top speed and a 22-mile riding range, respectively. So this should be enough for traveling around your mansion or riding around the pit lane while you prepare to take out your four-wheeled Bugatti. When not in use, you can fold the scooter and put it in storage, an undemanding job given its magnesium construction and 35-pound weight.

While the specs might not be typically Bugatti, the scooter’s design sure is. The attention to detail and finish levels are as crisp as they come on such an offering, and you get three Chiron-inspired colors to choose from.} Topping this is the extensive LED lighting present not only upfront and outback but also on the sides. The crown jewel, however, has to be the rear projector with an uber-cool ‘EB’ monogram.

Other notable features include multiple Bugatti badges, electronic ABS at the rear, an LCD readout, a safety bell, and handlebar-mounted LED indicators. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the scooter takes four hours to charge, a bit much considering the battery size.

What’s The Price?

Bugatti and Bytech have priced the 9.0 electric scooter at $1,200. This may seem less for a Bugatti-badged product, but it’s still considerably expensive for a kick scooter. To give you an idea, Ducati’s Pro-I Evo costs less than half of this, at around $480.

Nevertheless, there’s no denying the bragging rights this would give its owner, and if you have the resources, this would look pretty sick on the streets.
