Triumph recently teased a new variation of the Speed Triple 1200RS. While the short video tried its best not to show us anything, it was apparent that it will have a fairing. Now, a Triumph Fans' FB page has published these pictures, allegedly showing the new model in full.

Is This The New Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR?

When Triumph teased us with this video the motorcycling world went crazy assuming that the company was about to launch its first faired sports bike in 15 years.

Since then, all has gone quiet, although we can expect an announcement around the tine of the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan in November.

Since then, a facebook page called Triumph Fans France has published these 'photomontages' of what they say are artists impressions of what the new bike will look like. Certainly, some of them have been manipulated to show the design in different colours, but the general shape remains the same.

However, an anonymous source close to Triumph has confirmed that these are actually images sent out by the factory to dealers around the world in order to keep them up to speed on future model releases.

If that is the case, then this will be the new Speed Triple RR and it's not quite the fully-faired sports bike some people were hoping for. Of course, the styling might not be completely finalised but it looks as if all we will be getting is a bikini fairing on the Speed Triple.

I'd like to be wrong about this because I think a fully faired Triumph would be a great addition to the family. But I guess we'll just have to wait for the official launch of the bike.

In the meantime, does this appeal to you?
