While it is common to see high performance supercars and hypercars debut from established manufacturers, entirely new automakers typically don't make their entry at the pinnacle of performance. But 777 Motors is going against the grain. The new automaker, started by collector Andrea Levy, has just introduced its first model, and already the brand is being propelled to the upper echelon of pure performance.

777 Motors founder Andrea Levy has joined forces with the brilliant works from Gibson Racing, Dallara, and Umberto Palermo Design to create the new 777 Hypercar. Designed from the ground up to be a track-only hypercar, the 777 is exotic, striking, and most importantly of all, seriously fast. The 777 is built around a carbon fiber monocoque frame similar to the ones found in Formula One racing and what McLaren uses in their supercars and hypercars. This level of performance is often unachievable for companies, but the pairing of Gibson and Dallara provide an opportunity to drive something truly impressive.

Powering the lightweight 777 Hypercar is a naturally aspirated V-8 sourced from Gibson’s racing cars. The engine makes its peak horsepower of 730 horsepower at 9,000 RPM, letting the driver really wring out the car to appreciate it. Powered by synthetic racing fuels similar to the ones Porsche is developing, the 777 generates a massive 2,100kg of downforce when at the car’s top speed. That is more than double the car's actual weight, which rings in at 900kg (1,984 pounds). The four-and-a-half-liter V-8 was tested at the company’s home, the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, where it is expected to finish a full lap in one minute and thirty-three seconds. As a track special, the 777 can only be driven on the racetrack and will be kept at the track by 777’s personal team until the cars are intended to be driven by the owners - similar to Ferrari’s Corse Clienti program.

This level of performance is not without its exclusivity, which 777 Motors has intended. These high performance cars will cost seven million Euros, or $7,241,850. At this price tag, only seven vehicles will be built for owners to enjoy. Priced much higher than cars like the Brabham BT62 track-only supercar, the 777 offers more exclusive access to the world of racing through a partnership with Sparco for safety systems, including seats and other protection systems. To further showcase the car's abilities and a commitment to driver safety and performance, 777 Motors will put buyers through serious training to improve their reaction time, driving skills, and even improve their physical health to avoid injuries when driving at high speeds. Even further, the company is developing a driving simulator to ensure they know how to drive these cars and get familiar with the cockpit before their first drive.
