You should recall Shelby’s announcement a few weeks ago about its latest offering – the 700-horsepower, off-road-eating, super truck lovingly called the Shelby Baja 700 Raptor. Yes, it’s just what it sounds like – a modified Ford Raptor with enough supercharged horsepower to make any gearhead feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Well, Shelby has released a video of the beast

The video above captures the modified truck romping down dirt roads and through muddy water at the recent Texas Raptor Run at the Texana Ranch in Blackwell. The truck is one of only 50 examples Shelby will build, and includes a Whipple supercharger mounted atop the Raptor’s 6.2-liter V-8, a modified suspension system, bed supports, and a unique Shelby paint scheme and interior color combination.

The long-time Ford->ke4236 partner is able to offer the package to customers with 2010 though 2014 Ford SVT Raptors. The customization work costs an extra $45,000 on top of the truck’s cost, but offers a good deal of exclusivity and added value to the truck.
