Jeep is set to debut a new Mopar package for the Wrangler at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. It’s the MoparONE pack and it includes several add-ons that make the Wrangler a more competent off-roader. The package is available on both two- and four-door Jeep Wranglers fitted with the Rubicon package. Jeep is only selling the MoparONE on Euro-spec Wranglers headed to the EMEA region, which includes Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

This special edition is perhaps one of the last ones available for the Jeep Wrangler JK. Fiat Chrysler is currently deep in the development stages for the next-generation Wrangler, codenamed the JL. It is expected to debut ahead of the 2018 model year, when the all-new Wrangler hits showroom floors.

Jeep currently produces the Wrangler for nearly every region around the world. Each one is built in America, at Jeep’s Toledo Assembly plant in Ohio. This includes these Euro-spec Wranglers fitted with different bumpers and powertrains. These Wranglers, like this one seen here, comes powered by a 2.8-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel. It makes 200 horsepower and 340 pound-feet of torque, mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Like every Wrangler, it the transmission is mated to a manually operated, two-speed transfer case. The T-Case diverts power to the front axle when the driver selects either 4WD high range or 4WD low range.

Without further ado, let’s jump into what makes the Wrangler Rubicon with the MoparONE pack different.

What makes the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with MoparONE pack special

First off, it’s worth noting that Mopar is Chrysler’s parts division and has been for decades. It specializes in dealer-supplies parts that customers can opt to have installed on their vehicles and financed within the vehicle’s MSRP. In this case, the MoparONE pack includes items Jeepers would find handy when off-roading.

The MoparONE comes coated in Hyper Green paint and features black leather seats inside. The same Hyper Green color extends to accent the otherwise dark interior, making the Jeep livelier. Mirror caps with the Jeep logo are also included here. A set of 17-inch black painted cast aluminum wheels help set the MoparONE apart from other Wranglers, and come wrapped in Hankook Dynapro all-terrain tires sized in 265/75.

Helping cut through darkness is a windshield-mounted light bar with four halogen off-road lights. A heat-reduction hood is supplied by American Expedition Vehicles, the half-doors and soft top come standard, and tubular side steps make getting in and out an easier task.

The steps will come in handy thanks to a two-inch suspension lift. The lift kit gives the Wrangler better ground clearance, as well as steeper approach and departure angles. A steering stabilizer helps counter the taller ride height while a full skid plate package protects the Jeep’s underbelly.

All told, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with the MoparONE pack offers a more serious Jeep for off-roading, while bringing a unique look unlike any other Wrangler. Jeep says it will go on sale at dealerships in the EMEA region in the near future.
